Kiss A Pig

Would you Kiss a Pig to Stop Diabetes? Join the American Diabetes Association in a fun and wacky celebration of progress in the fight to Stop Diabetes on Monday, April 16, 2012, during the Indiana Pacers game at Banker's Life Fieldhouse. The purpose of Kiss a Pig is threefold:
Candidates will compete and raise funds for the American Diabetes Association. The candidate who brings home the most bacon will pucker up and kiss a real, live piglet at center court during half time! Why a pig? It's our way of expressing gratitude to the pig for its life-saving role as one of the first sources of insulin. Since 1921, insulin has played a major role in the treatment of diabetes for millions of people who suffer from this disease.
To learn more about Kiss a Pig or become a candidate contact Judi Williams, Manager, 317-352-9226, ext. 6727 or juwilliams@diabetes.org.
