Proceeds from the Hoops & Sneakers Gala will ensure continued funding for:

• Research to find a cure.
• Patient education through local hospitals, seminars and area health fairs.
• Camp Planet D, a summer camp for children with diabetes.
• Advocacy efforts protecting children's rights in schools and adults’ rights in the workplace.
• Project Power, our African American Outreach to high-risk communities.
• Family Link, support opportunities for the families.
