Presidents Oral Session

This is a session you do not want to miss! Following the 7:30 a.m. sessions on Tuesday morning, June 17, we truly have “saved the best for last.” Don’t leave the meeting until after you hear the best, cutting-edge research the Scientific Sessions has to offer during the Presidents Oral Session. Meet-the-Expert Sessions

New this year—Earn Continuing Education credit! Diabetes experts will facilitate discussions on clinical and basic science topics. These sessions will be held on Friday, June 13, at 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. There is no required sign-up for the sessions; however, space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shuttle Bus Service

Shuttle bus transportation will be provided from hotels outside of walking distance to the Moscone Center. Attendees who reserved rooms via ADA's official housing company, CMR, are entitled to ride the shuttles free-of-charge. If you reserved your room via CMR, you will receive a shuttle pass when you pick up your badge. Your shuttle pass is your ticket to ride the ADA shuttles. Hang it on your badge lanyard and make sure it is visible when boarding.

If you did not book your hotel through ADA’s housing company, you may purchase a pass for $50 at the Assisted Registration counter.

Limited shuttle bus transportation will be provided to/from the Corporate Symposia, the Opening Reception, and the 5K@ADA.

American Diabetes Association’s Drive to Stop DiabetesSM
Presented by Lilly Diabetes

NASCAR driver Ryan Reed’s race car, the Number 16 Ford Mustang, is sporting a special paint scheme to highlight the Association’s innovative Pathway to Stop Diabetes research program. Stop by and meet Ryan Reed himself at his car on Sunday, June 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. as well as on Monday, June 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The car is located outside the Poster Hall in the Lower Lobby (North Building).

5K@ADA

The 5K@ADA Fun Run/Walk, supported by Novo Nordisk Inc. will be held on Sunday, June 15 at 6:30 a.m. Race in style sporting a 5K@ADA running shirt available for $20 when you register for the meeting. A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase in the Shop Diabetes Store for $25.

Proceeds support the ADA Research Foundation. Sign up for the Fun Run/Walk by visiting the General Information tab at scientificsessions.diabetes.org. The event is free to all registered attendees. Help us reach 1,000 participants—register for the 5K@ADA today!
