ADA Walking Challenge

This year in New Orleans, attendees once again were challenged to walk enough steps to match our anniversary.

This was the second year we offered a Walking Challenge (supported by AstraZeneca), where we asked attendees to walk 76,000 steps to celebrate 76 years of the Association as an organization. We had 32 walkers reach that goal and our top walker hit 14,000 more steps than last year’s winner (a total of 179,196 steps). The cumulative total: our attendees took 17.3 million steps to get healthier and celebrate 76 years!
