Spotlight on Boston

Fife and Drum

America’s history begins in Boston with the Freedom Trail that includes the most important landmarks of the American Revolution—the site of the Boston Tea Party, Faneuil Hall, Old North Church, the USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument.

The city’s culture is world-renowned. Boston is home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops, as well as great museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Harvard and MIT Museums in Cambridge, the Institute of Contemporary Art and many more.

Dining is marked by astonishing diversity, ethnic variety and proximity to the convention center and hotels. The Waterfront District has famous seafood restaurants serving lobster, chowder and other New England favorites. The Back Bay neighborhood offers hundreds of restaurants from steakhouses to sidewalk bistros.

Boston is a world-class destination with endless possibilities for exploration of history, culture and dining. Come early or stay late to explore the history and culture of Boston!
