Action Alert

Dear ,

Duane Brown

Houston Texan Pro Bowl Offensive Tackle And Diabetes Advocate Duane Brown

My mom means the world to me. When I was six, she was diagnosed with diabetes. I’ve watched as her kidneys failed and she suffered multiple strokes – and I’ve seen her fight back to regain her health.

That’s why on April 7th I’ll be joining other NFL players and diabetes advocates on Capitol Hill to talk about the importance of supporting diabetes research and programs.

We need your help! Join us in asking Congress to take a stand against diabetes by signing the American Diabetes Association petition.

Our goal is to have 50,000 signatures to take with us to Capitol Hill. By signing this petition, you will raise your voice with us to tell Congress how important it is to Stop Diabetes®. Can I count on you to join our team?

Nearly 30 million Americans live with diabetes and 86 million more have prediabetes. Every 23 seconds, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed and another person faces terrible, life-threatening complications.

Help us reach our goal of 50,000 signatures before April 7th. After signing the petition, send it to your friends and family, and post it on your Facebook and Twitter to help spread the word.

Thanks for helping to Stop Diabetes,

Duane Brown
National Ambassador
American Diabetes Association
