Late Breaking Abstract Submission Site Now Open!

Sci Sessions 2017 Groundbreaking Research Wanted adThe Scientific Sessions Planning Committee invites you to submit your research to the Late Breaking Abstract program. The Late Breaking Abstract program allows for later submissions of newly completed research and clinical trials. Abstracts must describe noteworthy and timely research advances that have not been previously published or presented.

Visit our Abstracts page for information on how to submit your Late Breaking Abstract.

Late Breaking Abstract submissions will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, March 13.


Early Bird Registration Deadline Quickly Approaching

Make sure to register by Thursday, February 23 to take advantage of the Early Bird rate. Visit our website and click on the Registration and Hotel Information tabs to register for the meeting and make your hotel reservation. Hotel room rates range from $159-$309 per night. Access the hotel locator map (PDF) containing a list of meeting hotels with specially negotiated rates. Hotel reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserve your room early for the best selection.

Please Note: Only those attendees who reserve rooms through the Association’s official housing company will have complimentary access to the Scientific Sessions shuttle bus service.

Warning: Please be aware of companies operating on the Internet that claim to offer Registration and Housing services for the Scientific Sessions. They are not affiliated with the ADA and do not offer any services on our behalf. Registration and Housing should only be accessed from the ADA’s website, scientificsessions.diabetes.org and reserved through ADA’s official registration and housing provider, CMR.

Poster PresentationsExplore over 2,000 original posters displayed in the Poster Hall on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Poster Presenters will be at their poster boards for one hour on an assigned day to discuss their research with attendees.

Be sure to also check out our ePoster Theaters, which are designed to accommodate larger crowds making for a much more comfortable and enjoyable learning experience!

Diabetes Is Primary

Diabetes Is PrimaryLearn about key guidelines that are most useful in primary care during the one-day event, Diabetes Is Primary. The Association's Diabetes Is Primary will take place Friday, June 9, during the Scientific Sessions and offer 4.75 continuing education credits. This program will provide information on delivering quality care and improving patient outcomes. You can register for this program for an additional fee when you register for the Scientific Sessions (lunch is included).
