My Family & Diabetes  My Family & Diabetes My Family & Diabetes My name is Angelia Dallas and has type 2 diabetes and now is a insulin pump user. My mother was type 2 diabetes and had plenty of complications and the last three years of her life she suffered. I lost my mother October 28, 2004 & then lost my father December 4, 2004. I miss my parents so much and have learned so much from my parents having diabetes and the complications. My sister and several aunts have diabetes. On of my co-workers daughter has diabetes and a close girlfriend. I want to be a advocate speaker on "Diabetes" one day. I just moved to Florida from Georgia and have walked every year and raised money. I'm looking forward to the event this year. Hoping one day there is a cure. My prayers are with everyone who has diabetes, or know someone with diabetes, or a love ones who has passed on in memory. |
