"WHY I RIDE"

I RIDE FOR THE BRAVEST GIRL I KNOW. MY 6 YEAR OLD DAUGTHER.

On December 27th, 2004, our lives changed forever. We were told by doctors that our 6-year old daughter had Type 1 diabetes. The days that followed were filled with tears, anger and doubts.

Our daughter took every day with stride. Every injection and finger prick were no match against her smile and joy. I knew after seeing how brave she was that I needed to be brave for her in return.

So we are riding to help spread the word about the need for a cure.
