I came across a Tour brochure just months after learning...

I came across a Tour brochure in a neighborhood shop just months after learning that my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter had been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, a devastating illness. Determined to make life better for Emma and for all children with diabetes, I decided to form a team -- Emma's Emissaries.
With the generous and enthusiastic support of family and friends, my team of 14 riders raised almost $14,000 for the Columbia, Maryland Tour de Cure - the highest fundraising team! This was a great beginning but Emma's Emissaries are in it for the long haul toward a cure. We have miles to go!
