My History with Diabetes

Hi everybody! Yea, you are doing this!! It will be a lot of fun and we will raise some money for a great cause!

My history with Diabetes:

January 2005 - Started to wake up during the night to use the bathroom. Stupid me, I'll just cut down on the beer before I go to bed.

February 2nd. - Working at Delco Prison, not feeling really good. Inmate asked me, "CO, you don't look good" I had a prison nurse check my blood sugar. I guess 495 isn't good..
February 2, 2005 I weighed over 310lbs with a 54in waist.

July 22, 2005 - I'm taking one pill, called Metformin 500mg. extended release. My blood sugar is between 80 and 110 checked at least once a day.

Weight is now 247
(down 63 pounds )

Waist is now 40in.
