I WILL ALWAYS THINK OF YOU

My Dearest Aunt Linda was a wonderful woman. I remember some of the best summers of my life being at her home. I will always remember how she and her husband always treated my sister and brother and I like her own children. THIS IS FOR YOU AUNT LINDA!

I am sure my story is very similar to others in that diabetes has affected someone we love. My Aunt Linda was a very big part of my life that I fear I never appreciated enough. I never took diabetes really serious because I was not very informed about it. When she became sick I still thought it was something she could "get over". I was so wrong. She had a host of other problems as a result of the diabetes that eventually took her life. Aunt Linda left behind a wonderful family that loves her and a brother (my Dad) that lives with diabetes. I want to do this Walk because I love and miss her so much and I could never thank her enough for the joy she brought into my life.
