Tammy Lobato-Our Family Angel

I lost my sister Tammy on March 10, 2003. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 12 years old.

I lost my sister Tammy on March 10, 2003. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 12 years old. My dad, John Lobato and I are co-captains for Tammy Lobato-Our Family Angel. One of her wishes in life was that a cure for diabetes would be found in her lifetime, but since that was not Gods plan for her, it has become our mission to keep our team together, recruit new members, and raise more and more money every year in hopes that we can fulfill her dream. She was by far the strongest, wisest person I've ever known. She suffered many complications from this terrible disease, and losing her is the hardest thing our family has ever had to endure. I want to help anyone that has a loved one with diabetes, or anyone who has diabetes, so that they don't have to go through the pain and loss our family has experienced. God Bless everyone who sees the importance of sponsoring and walking for the millions of lives that are affected by this disease!!! Lisa Dutz
