20 Years and 2 Cats later...  20 Years and 2 Cats later... I ride this year to celebrate 20 complication-free years of diabetes and 2 relatively healthy diabetic cats (4 years and 6 months each). I was diagnosed with diabetes on February 24th, 1984. My cats, Sinbad and Sebastian were diagnosed in 2000 and 2004, respectively. While I have the pleasure of being able to wear my insulin pump, I see my kitties endure shots. We all have our diabetes monitored closely. I hope that cycling again and again in the tour de cure will help us all. |
