A GIVING PERSON

Each year we dedicate the ride to Liz. Our office manager, Liz, was diagnosed with diabetes 15 years ago and endured a number of serious complications including kidney failure requiring dialysis 3 times per week while waiting for a double transplant (kidney and pancreas).
In spite of all these complications, Liz's attitude is positive and her outlook on life is bright. We are grateful for the many research advances that have helped her and many others to live productive lives.
