My Life...

This is how it happened...

I am a 14 year old Pakistani girl and I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on April 14th 2004 with a sugar level of 950. For the past 8 days I spent my life in the ICU, with only one thing in my mind, "I wanna go home". My parents were always in fear but they had'nt lost hope, they knew that i would one day recover and live a happy life and do what I wanted. My country has no awareness of what is happening, since most of the television commercials are only about sugar,sugar and just sugar. My mom tries her level best to spread this awareness so that other people as well as their children know about diabetes. My 4 year old brother is Type 1 like me, while my dad is Type 2. All I can say is that I wish there were people who are aware of this. I live a happy normal life, I get to hang around with my freinds as well as family all the time, go to school, and still have time to do Anime.
