FATHER OF THE YEAR AWARDS CEREMONY:

It's the award every father hopes to one day receive: Father of the Year.


Made possible by a partnership of local volunteers, the Father's Day Council, and the American Diabetes Association, the Father of the Year Awards Gala recognizes men who stand tall as pillars of Nebraska and Western Iowa - our finest community leaders - successful in their professions, exemplifying outstanding community service, all while maintaining the role of "dad".


The Father of the Year Awards Gala will include a cocktails and a lively silent auction from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a live program honoring the 2013 Nebraska and Western Iowa Father of the Year honorees to follow. Proceeds from this event fund advocacy, education and research for type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes.
