2010 marks the ninth year that the Father's Day Council in Orange County, California, has hosted the Father of the Year Awards Dinner, benefiting the American Diabetes Association. Since our first event occurred in 2001, our honoree fathers and council members have raised over $1,112,000 to help support the advocacy, research and information initiatives of the American Diabetes Association. These funds help the American Diabetes Association fulfill its mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
