Thank you for visiting the American Diabetes Association's Step Up to Fight Diabetes homepage!

For those of you who participated in the 2007 Step Up event, thanks so much for your generosity and commitment to preventing diabetes and helping to find a cure for the 21 million people affected by this disease.

We are excited to announce that we are launching a new national event in 2008 called Step OUT: Walk to Fight Diabetes. Step OUT is a family and team friendly 5k that will include optional steps along the route (for those of you who loved climbing the best staircases on the east coast!). The event is scheduled for October 4, 2008, and will begin and end at the "Rocky Steps" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

If you have already registered for the Step Up event, your contributions are easily transferred to the new site—the team is here to help you with this transition.
