I am now a part of Team Diabetes and am fundraising to support the American Diabetes Association!

I joined Team Diabetes because today alone over 4100 people will be diagnosed with diabetes and because more than 30 million adults and children in the United States are living with this terrible disease.

On June 23rd, 2019, my best friend, confidant, my beautiful mother, lost her battle with T1Ds. After more than 7 years of medication management, healthier eating and dialysis, her fragile body gave in for a time of “rest”. She will truly be missed! I too have diabetes, T2Ds. With medication management, exercise and healthier foods, I’m taking control of this horrible disease.

In early October of 2019, I created an Online store in memory of my beloved mother. The name of my site is RUDINEZ. It is filled handmade crafts she enjoyed making.
