Our Goal is $185,000.00. We've Raised $24,585.00. Make a Donation.
We Step Out to do our part to Stop Diabetes! Participants are changing the future and making a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes.
Step Out participants are committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because they walk among us in our lives and at the event.
Once you register, you'll be given your very own web page and will have access to lots of tools to help you fundraise your Step Out Center. You'll be able to customize the page with your reason for walking, send emails to ask others to join you or donate, and even download Facebook and smart phone apps. And of course, your Step Out Specialists (ADA staff) will be here to help all along the way!
To help jumpstart your fundraising efforts, we are running a special promotion to win four tickets to see the Jonas Brothers Live Tour on Tuesday, July 23rd at the Mohegan Sun Arena. This promotion begins on Wednesday, May 1st and ends on Friday, May 31st.
Here's how you can earn entries into the drawing:
Promotion is for online donations only - offline donations (cash/checks) cannot be applied. All emails must be sent through your Walk Center and not sent through personal accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) in order to qualify. Emails sent and/or donations received before Wednesday, May 1st or after Friday, May 31st will not count. Drawing will take place on Monday, June 3, 2013.
