We Step Out to do our part to Stop Diabetes! Participants are changing the future and making a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes.
Step Out participants are committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because they walk among us in our lives and at the event.
Once you register, you'll be given your very own web page and will have access to lots of tools to help you fundraise your Step Out Center. You'll be able to customize the page with your reason for walking, send emails to ask others to join you or donate, and even download Facebook and smart phone apps. And of course, your Step Out Specialists (ADA staff) will be here to help all along the way!
We are pleased to offer for the 2nd year the addition of a 5K Run to our event! We have partnered again with Fleet Feet Sports to provide the 5K Run option
5K Run Registration Fee Structure:
$18 before October 1st
$20 October 1st-17th
$25 at the event on October 19th
Included in your Registration Fee: Runner Bib, Timing Chip and 2013 5K Run T-shirt for first 150 runners to register
To Register for the 5K Run:
1. To register via the active.com website please click here
OR
2. Register on this website and make the mandatory self donation of $18 to cover the 5K runner registration fee. Once registered, please send an email to Sgordon@diabetes.org with "5K Run" in the subject line so we know you are participating as a runner in the event.
