Support me as I Step Out to Fight Diabetes!
In honor of my father, Frank Hoose Sr., who died in 2001 of complications from diabetes, I am participating in Step Out to Fight Diabetes. I'll join hundreds of other walkers on October 24, 2009, as we walk in Washington, DC.
This annual event, sponsored by the American Diabetes Association, spreads awareness of the risks of diabetes and raises money to support ADA's programs in research, education and prevention.
