Your Dollars Making a Difference Locally

Last year our School Trainers provided 80 trainings reaching 709 school staff in Oregon & SW Washington. The American Diabetes Association is dedicated to keeping kids with diabetes safe at school.

Research for a Cure: Wei Fan, MD at OHSU received a 3 year research grant from the American Diabetes Association.

Family Link: It offers trained mentors for kids newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and their parents. Family Diabetes Days offer educational opportunities for parnets while their kids participate in games and fun.

Diabetes Expo: A free diabetes trade show offering education sessions, cooking demonstrations, interactive activities for kids and over 100 product and service exhibits. Our Expo is one of the largest in the country attracting over 5500 people.
