WE’RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE. YOU CAN TOO.
So many lives are touched by diabetes. Chances are your life is too. You can help make a difference in those lives. Join us or donate - either way, you can change lives.
In the last five years alone, the number of Americans with diabetes has increased by an alarming 27 percent. As the U.S. diabetes epidemic grows, so does the need to address diabetes in the workplace. Diabetes is a leading cause of heart attack, stroke, blindness, kidney failure, and amputation. It also leads to more sick days and less productivity on the job.
We’re committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because we personally know and work with some of them, and want to do something about it.
Here’s just one way funds we raise contributes to the work of the Association. Recently, the California Supreme Court ruled in the Association’s favor, allowing school personnel to volunteer and be trained to help children with insulin—allowing them to survive and thrive in school. This was a landmark win for people with diabetes.
If diabetes touches your life, then you belong with us. When we bring together
dedicated coworkers, family, friends and kind donors, the power we have as a
group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.

We are forever grateful for your support. Together we can Stop Diabetes!
