Our Goal: | Raised:

Welcome to Step Out in Boston

On Saturday, October 17, 2015 more than 5,000 people will walk in stride at the American Diabetes Association’s Boston Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes®. Teams of all ages and sizes will gather in solidarity with their family, friends, coworkers and peers that make up the nearly 29 million Americans are presently living with diabetes.

The event takes place at the Parkman Bandstand, located in the historic Boston Common.  Walkers can enjoy a 1, 2 or 3 mile loop around the perimeter of the Common passing Boston landmarks including the State House, Frog Pond, Freedom Trail, and more.

Check-In/Registration will be from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and we will be having a rolling start this year beginning at 9:30 a.m. and continuing through 10:30 a.m.  Walkers can enjoy exhibitors, vendors, live music and activities before and after their walk.  Stay tuned for more.

Boston Step Out participants are changing the future and making a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. You can too!

Once you register, you'll be given your very own web page and will have access to tools to help you fundraise your Step Out Center. You can customize the page with personal stories about why you Step Out, send emails to ask others to join you or donate, and even download Facebook and smart phone apps.

Check back often for updates on the Step Out Walk!
