We hope you had a great day celebrating those who live with diabetes and honoring those we have lost. More than 650 walkers, just like you, joined the effort to support diabetes research, education, and advocacy programs. Post-Event Fundraising: Your Step Out Center will continue to remain open for you to receive online donations. If you have any cash/checks, they can be mailed to our local office at the address below. Just make sure to include a note with the name of the participant(s) or team who should be credited with the donation.

Matching Gifts: These are a great way to double (or even triple) your fundraising dollars. Encourage your donors to check and see if their company has a matching program (or use our Matching Gift Search). Check with your own employer too as some companies will match what you raise as a participant!
Thank You Gifts: If you raise $250 or more you become eligible for a Post-Event Thank You Gift such as Step Out gear, fitness equipment, electronics and more. The deadline for donations to count toward your thank you gift level will be Tuesday, November 17th. Redemption codes for Thank You Gifts will be sent via email to qualifying walkers at the end of November.
Event Photos: We have lots of great pictures from the ride, courtesy of our event photographers. Pictures will be posted to our Facebook page as we get them in, so check back often to see what's been added. Don't forget to tag yourself and your family and friends!
Event Feedback: What did you like about Central NJ Step Out? What can we improve for your walk experience? If you have any ideas or feedback about the walk, please reach out to us by phone or email. We want to make the Central NJ Step Out the best event it can be, so let us know what you think! Also keep an eye on your email for a Step Out survey. It only takes a few minutes to fill out and it really helps us plan for future events.
Committee Recruitment: Believe it or not, we are already planning for the 2017 walk. The Planning Committee helps with walker recruitment, publicity, event logistics, fundraising and so much more. If you or anyone you know is interested in joining our Planning Committee, please contact Michael Franken at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3rd Party Fundraiser: Join us at the Texas Roadhouse in Old Bridge on October 25 from 6-10PM. All you have to do is print out and bring in THIS FLYER when you get your meal and 15% of your bill will go towards the American Diabetes Association! A big thank you to Linda Fedorka for putting together this opportunity.
