How my life has changed since being diagnosed with diabetes
Dear friends and family,
As you may know, my life was changed forever when I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2014.
Finding a cure is very important to me so I am participating in the Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes in October in Pittsburgh, PA to raise money for the American Diabetes Association – the world leader in both diabetes research and education.
I would be so grateful if you would support my fight against diabetes by making a tax-deductible donation to help me reach me personal fundraising goal of $500.
I’ll be participating as a Red Strider, someone who is recognized as a hero on the day of the event for living all year long with this difficult disease.
Living with diabetes is tough and there are no breaks from it. But what I've learned is that behind every person with diabetes, there is an amazing support system. My family, friends, and my medical team have always got my back. But not everyone is as fortunate as I am. That’s why I want to help raise money for American Diabetes Association which is a huge support for people like me and the nearly 30 million other Americans who are living with diabetes.
Will you help me by making a donation in support of my Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes?
Your gift will help fund groundbreaking research projects, train school personnel to keep children with diabetes safe at school, provide legal assistance to individuals who are being discriminated against because of their diabetes, teach people who are newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes how to manage their diabetes, and so much more.
Where can I mail cash/check donations?
