Make a Difference. Change Lives.
My Dad and sister have diabetes. That's why I walk.
But there are millions more who deal with diabetes and face discrimination. Some of them are children in school. I'm proud to say I attended a bill signing that the ADA had a strong hand in making happen. That is the safe at school bill in Maryland. It protects those children.
So my goal is to raise more funds so that we can go from 31 states having this bill, to 50. Kids deserve to be safe at school!
Help Me Reach My Goal!
When you donate:
- You spread awareness of the devastating effects of diabetes.
- You advocate for a child discriminated against in school because of diabetes.
- You fund life-saving research.
- You provide access to community programs and free resources that help those living with diabetes to live well.
By walking in this event, I hope to inspire others to join me to walk and raise money. Thank you for making a generous donation to this cause that is so important to me.
