I will be riding a "Metric Century" (100 km / 62 miles) in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fundraising event. Each mile I ride, and the funds I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

Last year I raised $3500 ... my current goal is to go a bit higher than that: $4000 $4500 $5000 and I'm already 95% of the way there. If I can raise more, that's even better (I'm not above raising my goal if I get there too soon).

Why I ride:

I ride for my health ... riding helps me keep my diabetes under control.

I also ride to raise money so that, one day, my friends, family, & co-workers won't have to deal with diabetes.

I'm getting involved!

Last year I started getting involved in the Tour de Cure ... and this year I'm ramping it up.  I'm captain of Team Red Chicago!
