I am well on my way to raising $2500.00 with $2126.00 to date and the team is just over $4000.00 heading to our minimum goal of $5000.00. I really need your help in raising money for this great cause.

I am riding because the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure is so much more than a cycling event to me. It is my opportunity to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes along with my friends and family. 

My step dad Ed Niccolls was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 1990. At that time he stated that he was tired all the time and lacked ambition to do much at all. Ed is one of those guys that always helps anyone he can and never asks for help. He has been fighting this over the years and has been able to maintain how this affects his day to day routine. Ed is one of those guys that loves to work outside and around the house. He has always been there for anyone who needs his help. This is my opportunity to give back to Ed and others like him who are fighting diabetes. I am committed to ride the full 100 miles  and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because is has personally affected my family, and I want to do something about it. Won?t you help me start a chain reaction?

Chances are, you also know someone who has been affected by diabetes and you already know how important it is to stop this disease. By making a donation on my behalf or by joining my team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

With your help, we will fight for a future where a parent does not have to hear that their child has diabetes. A future where an adult does not have to face the uncertain times ahead after receiving a diabetes diagnosis. A future where you and I will know that we had a part in making this possible.
