I've had Type 1 Diabetes for almost 18 years and I've never let it hold me down or constrain what I am able to do.  As a Diabetic riding in this year's tour, I am so encouraged by the support that I have already and continue to receive.  I'm riding this year in the 100k or 62.5 mile leg of the Tour de Cure for the 2nd year in a row with my friend Tom.  Last year I raised more than $2,600 for research to find a cure and this year my goal is $3,000.  I'm a little behind due to having my son Ethan who will be just over a year old by the time of the tour.  Even more so than finding a cure for myself, Ethan is my main reason for riding because I don't want him to ever worry about dealing with this disease that affects so many.  Please consider helping me reach my goal and find a cure for Diabetes.  I'm appreciative of every little bit and remember that all donations are tax deductible.
