This coming March I will be riding in the Tour de Cure for the American Diabetes Association.  This year my goal is to ride the 100 mile course.  This will be a challenge for me and I very much desire to conquer this goal.

The American Diabetes Association is the only non-profit organization supporting all 25.8 million Americans living with diabetes ? including type 1 and type 2 diabetes; children and adults. The Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; delivers services to hundreds of communities; provides objective and credible information; and gives voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. Founded in 1940, our mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

The American Diabetes Association® relies on the dollars raised through Tour de Cure® to support our mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Every mile we ride and every dollar we raise helps them provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research toward a cure.
