Why We Ride? We ride because we are proud to do our part to Stop Diabetes. We decided to team up to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. We are committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because we personally know some of them, and want to do something about it. We want to change the projected numbers that 1 of 3 children born in the year 2000 will develop diabetes and that statistics now show that by the year 2050, 1 in 3 adults will be living with diabetes?  Those are just predictions - lets change that!

Help Stop Diabetes! Ride a Bike! If you are a Red Rider, a person living, striving and thriving with diabetes, a family member, friend, loved one, co-worker, neighbor, or fellow club member of a Red Rider or you just want to come out and help raise money and awareness for diabetes and would like to be part of a team, then THIS IS THE TEAM FOR YOU!

WAY TO GO TEAM RED!

What is Team Red?  Team RED Southwest Florida is for EVERYONE.  If you are a Red Rider (a person living with ANY type of diabetes), family of a Red Rider, friend, co-worker, enemy or frenemy of someone living with diabetes, then this is the team for you. Riders on our team will not all be doing the same distance and our team is not like a professional team or club team.  There are no dues to pay, it does not cost anything extra to be on this team.  You can be a beginner rider or a hard core cyclist, all skill levels are welcome as Team RED Southwest Florida is for anyone and everyone looking for a place to fundraise together and support each other as we train for the RIDE OF OUR LIVES. The power of team!

Why Ride?  We Ride to Stop Diabetes! We?re riding on behalf of the over 26 million Americans with diabetes as well as for their families and friends. We are counting on you to help our team make a difference! The funds we raise will support the American Diabetes Association's important research, information and advocacy efforts and its mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

Join our Team! Come ride with us and you'll get to take part in a fun, exciting, healthy event for the whole family. You can even your invite friends and family to join. Every rider counts, every dollar raised makes a difference and everyone is welcome to join our team!
