TEAM PHOENIX!

This all started with a mission to beat Diabetes on Michael Rosen's Terms after being diagnosed with Type 2, but as support started pouring in two Dear Friends, Jennifer Mason and her husband Bart Piekarski, stepped up to the challenge and volunteered to form a team and ride to kick the tail out of Diabetes. Then my friend for 15 years, Joey Heard, who recently became a cyclist, decided to join our team to help make a difference for those who can't! We will be riding 100 Miles May 18th in the Alabama Tour De Cure.

We also ride for a dear friend's daughter Nicole Kinnunen, who battles with T1.

It is not only an honor, but a priviledge to be riding for such a valiant cause with the most incredible friends in honor of truly amazing people.

We ride because we are proud to do our part to Stop Diabetes. We decided to team up to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. We are committed to ride and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because we personally know some of them, and want to do something about it.
