STOP Diabetes

The Tour de Cure has a fundraising minimum because we  want to make a difference directly in the Northwest Arkansas community for people affected by this disease. Here are some local programs that your fundraising helps to support:

  • Research for type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes
  • Camp Aldersgate for children affected by diabetes
  • Free Diabetes Expo on August 3rd
  • Family Link mentoring program for families affected by diabetes
  • Advocacy at the local and state level
  • Education materials. Our mission is to find a cure but also to teach people how to manage their diabetes until that cure is found!

Just think about it:

An event with 650 participants that has a $15 entry fee would raise $9,750 for the charity

An event with 650 participants that has a minimum fundraising of $150 would raise $97,500!!!

We are here to put on a well- supported event, bring the community of Northwest Arkansas together, and to STOP Diabetes!
