Fundraising Honor Roll

Tour de Cure!

You likely know that I'm a Type 1 Diabetic and have been for over 30 years now. Some may feel it to be a burden that they could never live with, I don't have a choice. What I have learned is that by taking care of myself I do rather well with the complications of the disease. I also have competitive nature for myself and with others; you may have experienced that side a time or two. Riding my bicycle has proved to be the best activity in helping me control my blood glucose levels; it's my therapy both physically and mentally.

This is where you come in, even with my active life, what would it be like to eliminate the constant monitoring, insulin injecting, worrying about the too much or the not enough food and a myriad of other issues that come with this disease. I will be cycling in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fundraising event on June 11th. Please support me with a donation to assist in the research needed to find a cure. By selecting the "Sponsor Me" option with this message you will be directed to the Utah Diabetes web site where you can make a donation to work towards Stopping Diabetes!

Help Make a Difference in the fight against diabetes!

Each mile I ride, and the funds I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

Small or large, your generous gift will help improve the lives of nearly 24 million Americans who suffer from diabetes, in the hope that future generations can live in a world without this disease. Together, we can all make a difference!

Thank you for making a generous contribution to this cause that is so important to me!
