Event Highlights
The Northeast Ohio Tour de Cure is more
than just a cycling event. It’s a life-changing event. A day full of fun and
excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes
and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in
support of the America Diabetes Association.
The Tour is a ride, not a race. Whether you are an
occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you.
Experience the breath taking scenery on your adventure through one of Ohio’s
most scenic parks. Each year this motivating ride has turned into a spiritual
journey for those living with diabetes and their supporters.

64 Mile Challenge
is a true test of
endurance – best suited for the experienced cyclist. Crossing 3 counties with plenty of hills
guarantee an unforgettable experience.
32 Mile Difficult features both steep challenging hills and long rolling inclines.
Great choice for the intermediate to advanced cyclist. Full route support ensures a safe ride from
start to finish.
25 Mile Ride
Intermediate This scenic route keeps riders safe as the route is primarily
on the paved Hike & Bike Trail.
15 & 10 Mile
Recreational These family-friendly routes are accessible to all ages
and fitness levels. Head out on the route and turn around whenever you
like. Turnaround signs will be posted at 5 miles and 7.5 miles on the
Bike and Hike Trail. But cyclists can ride shorter or longer distances at
their discretion.

Champions To Stop Diabetes
When you ride in Tour de Cure, you take part in something unique. You join the ranks of some of the most passionate people in the country people who care about cycling, health and, above all, finding a cure for diabetes.
If you raise $1,000 or more for a local Tour de Cure you will automatically become a Champion to Stop Diabetes and will receive special recognition on the weekend of the event, along with special perks all year long!
If you raise $2,600, in honor of the 26 million Americans living with diabetes, you will become a Champion on a Mission and will receive the coveted gold Champions jersey.

Thousands of people with diabetes participate in Tour as "Red Riders". Red Riders are the reason we ride—they are given a jersey to proudly wear on the day of the event. Beyond the recognition, Red Riders are part of a community that inspires us to ride and raise money to Stop Diabetes. Be sure to choose "Red Rider" when you register!

Tour de Cure participants can earn a variety of exciting thank you gifts including exclusive apparel, popular electronics, and more! They represent our thanks for reaching higher fundraising levels to fund the mission of the American Diabetes Association and the 26 million Americans with diabetes we serve. All registered participants raising the minimum fundraising amount will receive a commemorative Tour de Cure event T-shirt on the day of the local event. Raise $250 or more and you'll earn your choice of thank you gifts!

loved one, co-worker, neighbor, or fellow club member of a Red Rider or you
just want to come out and help raise money and awareness for diabetes and would
like to be part of a team, then THIS IS THE TEAM FOR YOU!
Being on Team Red means that you will instantly be a part of a community made up of people from all different areas and walks of life. Team Red is a great way to connect with other families supporting a Red Rider and other families that are honoring a loved one with diabetes.

and their families and friends, we are counting on you to help our team make a
difference! The funds we raise will support the American Diabetes Association's
important research, information and advocacy efforts and its mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to
