Dear Friends and Family,

HI - This is Tour de Cure #5 for me and we are getting closer to a cure for Diabetes. It is because of you that strides are being made in diabetes research and hopefully this disease will have a cure in the near future.

I know that your community care dollars are tight in this economy, but I believe this is a worthwhile cause for you to be involved with. Diabetes is close to each of us, we all know someone who is affected by this chronic problem. Help me Help your Friends and Family!

I am a type 2 diabetic and was diagnosed in 1997 and have been successful in fighting this disease through diet, drugs and exercise. Diabetes runs in my family, I am a third generation diabetic and I would like to see this disease eradicated before it affects a fourth or fifth generation.

I believe in the ADA and the use of the donations they receive for fighting diabetes. An impressive 75% of every dollar spent supports research, advocacy, and services for people affected by diabetes - Your Family, Your Friends.
