Support Me in Tour de Cure!

Folks, I am back with family support participating in the American Diabetes Association's annual Tour de Cure event this year. I am asking you to join me in the effort to Stop Diabetes by making a contribution to support my ride.  As a son of two parents with Type II diabetes, I am more at risk than most.  Last year with my push to get motivated and back into shape has been fantastic and those that dont know, I have recorded over 4,000 miles on my bike since I purchased it last November.  Hopefully all of this cycling and better eating habits will help reduce my chances of becomming diabetic.  However, my parents as well as your friends and family that have Diabetes may not be as lucky as you and I.

Last year through your generous support, I became the #1 collector for the Coral Springs 2012 Tour de Cure.  It was so exciting to receive an award for something that in fact I did nothing but ask for help.  You all did the work.  This year, I have pledged to ride 100 miles for the American Diabetes Association and have motivated my wife and son to join in on the fun and have both pledged to ride the 31 miles each.  So as a family we are will be peddling 162 miles for the Tour de Cure.

The dollars we raise for the American Diabetes Association fund research, provide services, and give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. I believe in the work they do, and I invite you to join me in this effort. More than 25 million Americans live with diabetes, and your support can and will make a difference in their lives.
