What An Amazing Day! Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who played a
part in making this event the best one yet! Every role, most of it
behind-the-scenes, was critical and is greatly appreciated. Thank you
participants, supporting fundraisers and all of the volunteers who donated
their precious time, talents, and resources – Bike SAG sponsor Centennial
Imports, Bike Shops Truly Spokin’ ,; Bob's Bicycles of Ft Walton Beach and Bikes Plus; Rest Stops Volunteers;
energizing cheer support; set-up crew, clean-up crew (many blessings to
these tired souls); delicious food from PT Solutions and Firehouse Subs,
volunteers food from Walmart; our top teams and champion fundraisers; our route
and command central chairperson, Bryan Dunne,Tour Committee Members Rachel

reflect on your participant page?
To be sure your page is as up to date as possible, be sure you record your cash
and check donations in your Tour Center before submitting them to our
office.
Log into your Tour Center (upper right corner of this
page!).
Locate the black navigation bar below the Tour de Cure logo.
Click the tab labeled "Progress".
Locate the "Progress Tools" in the sidebar on the righthand
side of the page.
Click "Enter Check/Cash Donations".
Record the required information and click "Add" to save
a single donation.
Click "Save and Add Another" to enter additional donations.
Then send in those donations to our
office:

Send an email telling everyone (friends, family, co-workers, neighbors,

Champions To Stop Diabetes
When you ride in Tour de Cure, you take part in something unique. You join the ranks of some of the most passionate people in the country people who care about cycling, health and, above all, finding a cure for diabetes.
If you raise $1,000 or more for a local Tour de Cure you will automatically become a Champion to Stop Diabetes and will receive special recognition on the weekend of the event, along with special perks all year long!
If you raise $2,600, in honor of the 26 million Americans living with diabetes, you will become a Champion on a Mission and will receive the coveted gold Champions jersey.

Do you or someone you know have diabetes?
Thousands of people with diabetes participate in Tour as "Red Riders". Red Riders are the reason we ride—they are given a jersey to proudly wear on the day of the event. Beyond the recognition, Red Riders are part of a community that inspires us to ride and raise money to Stop Diabetes. Be sure to choose "Red Rider" when you register!

Thank You Gifts

They represent our thanks for reaching higher fundraising levels to fund the mission of the American Diabetes Association and the 26 million Americans with diabetes we serve. All registered participants raising the minimum fundraising amount will receive a commemorative Tour de Cure event T-shirt on the day of the local event. Team Red
Team Red is for Red Riders (participants with type 1 or type 2 diabetes), their family, friends and anyone else who is looking to join with millions of others who want to Stop Diabetes! Any rider who isn't already on another team can join Team Red.
Being on Team Red means that you will instantly be a part of a community made up of people from all different areas and walks of life. Team Red is a great way to connect with other families supporting a Red Rider and other families that are honoring a loved one with diabetes.
If I don't have diabetes, can I join Team Red? YES! You can join Team Red, which is made up of Red Riders AND those who support Red Riders. This is a team for anyone who doesn't already have a team.
