Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
The Tour is a ride, not a race. Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you.

Route Descriptions
The
Pittsburgh Tour de Cure begins at Seneca
Valley High School, located at 128 Seneca School Road, Harmony, PA 16037. Our 5 Routes are designed to appeal to all
skill levels.
Routes include:
8 Mile Family Fun Ride Our family-friendly Fun Ride is
accessible to all ages and fitness levels and travels through the historic
village of Harmony and the quaint town of Zelienople.
- Check in: 10:00am, Start: 11:00am
20/30 Mile Fitness Test Our 20/30 Mile Ride offers a moderate
challenge while being safe & scenic.
Beginner and intermediate cyclists can test your riding skills and get
great exercise!
- Check in: 8:30am, Start: 9:30am
50 Mile Training Ride Our 50 Mile Ride features several
challenging climbs and is the perfect choice for the intermediate to advanced
cyclist. Whether you’re a roadie or a
dirt bicyclist, you’ll be challenged!
- Check in: 7:00am, Start: 8:00am
100 Mile Ultimate
Challenge Our 100
Mile Ride is a true test of endurance – best suited for the experienced
cyclist. After riding through the rolling terrain and challenging climbs,
riders will feel a real sense of accomplishment!
- Check in: 6:00am, Start: 6:30am

Champions To Stop Diabetes
When you ride in Tour de Cure, you take part in something unique. You join the ranks of some of the most passionate people in the country people who care about cycling, health and, above all, finding a cure for diabetes.
If you raise $1,000 or more for a local Tour de Cure you will automatically become a Champion to Stop Diabetes and will receive special recognition on the weekend of the event, along with special perks all year long!
If you raise $2,600, in honor of the 26 million Americans living with diabetes, you will become a Champion on a Mission and will receive the coveted gold Champions jersey.

Do you or someone you know have diabetes?
Thousands of people with diabetes participate in Tour as "Red Riders". Red Riders are the reason we ride—they are given a jersey to proudly wear on the day of the event. Beyond the recognition, Red Riders are part of a community that inspires us to ride and raise money to Stop Diabetes. Be sure to choose "Red Rider" when you register!

Thank You Gifts
Tour de Cure participants can earn a variety of exciting thank you gifts including exclusive apparel, popular electronics, and more! They represent our thanks for reaching higher fundraising levels to fund the mission of the American Diabetes Association and the 26 million Americans with diabetes we serve. All registered participants raising the minimum fundraising amount will receive a commemorative Tour de Cure event T-shirt on the day of the local event. Raise $250 or more and you'll earn your choice of thank you gifts!

Team Red
Team Red is for Red Riders (participants with type 1 or type 2 diabetes), their family, friends and anyone else who is looking to join with millions of others who want to Stop Diabetes! Any rider who isn't already on another team can join Team Red.
Being on Team Red means that you will instantly be a part of a community made up of people from all different areas and walks of life. Team Red is a great way to connect with other families supporting a Red Rider and other families that are honoring a loved one with diabetes.
If I don't have diabetes, can I join Team Red?
YES! You can join Team Red, which is made up of Red Riders AND those who support Red Riders. This is a team for anyone who doesn't already have a team.
