My Diabetes

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (formerly know as juvenile diabetes) on my 25th birthday. It was initially found through my participation in Healthquest at work. I use an insulin pump to deliver a constant stream of insulin to my body and "dial it up" at mealtime so my body can utilize the carbs I've eaten.
