Support Me in Tour de Cure!

My wife Nancy and I are both Diabetics. Nancy was diagnosed with Type 1 in January 2010. I was diagnosed with Type 2 in 2008. To top this off both of our dogs have Diabetes and need shots twice a day. We take Diabetes very seriously, but we live a completely normal life. We have changed our diets and we exercise often. Our children are our greatest supportors. They help us with our diets and give us great encourgement. Our son David and I train together as often as possible. last year we did our first Triathlon and a Duathlon. He rides in the Tour de Cure with us. Our daughter Jessica lives in Texas and isn't able to ride with us but she always make very generous donations. We started Team Garcia in 2012 and plan to make the Tour de Cure an anual event.

 I am asking you to join me in the effort to Stop Diabetes by making a contribution to support my ride.

The dollars we raise for the American Diabetes Association fund research, provide services, and give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. I believe in the work they do, and I invite you to join me in this effort. More than 25 million Americans live with diabetes, and your support can and will make a difference in their lives.
