My daughter Brenna was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at a young age. With our family having no medical history of Diabetes, this came as quite a shock to both my husband and I. A day before her week long hospitalization, we had celebrated her thirteenth birthday--it just didn't seem real. Feeling utterly blindsided, we were fortunate enough to have the support from our family and friends, the instruction and training from the medical staff, and the unconditional grace from God. Ten years later, my daughter has her Diabetes under control (with occasional check-ins by mom), and is living life with nothing holding her back. 

I have been riding for a few years now, and absolutely love it. Cycling is a passion that both my husband Mike and I share. Nothing beats getting out there on the street with a group of friends and my bike! I am in the best shape of my life and enjoying every moment.
