Support Me in Tour de Cure!

That's right, I will NOT be cycling in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fund-raising event Instead, I'll be spinning my wheels behind-the-scenes to support all the cyclists who are riding for the cause in our 22nd annual ride on May 5th. 25.8 million Americans are estimated to have diabetes and another 79 million have pre-diabetes, putting them at heightened risk for developing the disease.  One out of four Americans is touched in some way by this disease.  Alarmingly, more and more children are being diagnosed with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes, which may mean they will have shorter lifespans than their parents.  In just the last 5 years, the national cost of diabetes has risen by a shocking 41 percent.  Our efforts will help set the pace in the fight against this killer and debilitator.  Thank you for your consideration.
