Dear friends and family,

I know you get a lot of these "please donate e-mails". Many of you have supported me and my daughter Gloria for many years. We thank you for that support. Knowing the economic times we appreciate anything you can do to help us with this cause. This year we are getting close to $10,000.00 of funds raised by you and the many others who have donated on our family's behalf. So a huge thanks to all of you!

Once again I will be cycling in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fundraising event in Yountville, on May 5, 2013. This year I have joined a large group from the Team Bio-Rad. So far that group is up to 159 riders for this event. We hope to get to 200 riders. Please support us and this great cause with a donation by selecting the red "Sponsor Me" button. Our efforts will help set the pace in the fight against diabetes.

I will be riding 100 miles on behalf of my daughter Gloria and so many others affected by this terrible disease. This has been a medically challenging year for Gloria. So each mile I ride, along with the funds I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
