Support Me in Tour de Cure!

Once again I am ready to take on the challenge to fight diabetes !!  Last year I raised over $1000 in an effort to find a cure for Diabetes, and this year I will ride again in my fight against this disease.

My training is starting now, as I am recovering from minor surgery that put me off work for several months. This ride should prove to be even more challenging for me, as I fight to get back into Tour de Cure shape.

Diabetes has affected my family and resulted in terrible suffering and tragic results.  I lost my cousins Cathy and Nancy at an early age to this awful disease and pray that my son and grandchildren are spared as we have Type 1 in our genes. Several other family members and friends still struggle daily and have undergone dialysis, and kidney transplants in an effort to stay alive.

I pray that they will find a cure once and for all so that people will no longer have to suffer.

I will once again dedicate my ride to my cousins Cathy, Nancy and Michael, and to my Uncle Lenny.
