Fundraising Honor Roll

I ride because my uncle suffered greatly from this disease.
I ride
because by raising awareness and funds we can immediately help the 26 million Americans also impaired by  diabetes.

What is this all About?

You may have recently heard of Kyle Love, NFL football player for the New England Patriots, who lost his job because of Type 2 diabetes.  Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin, a hormone needed to convert food into energy. So many Americans are living with diabetes today, but if current trends continue, one out of three children will face a future with diabetes. This is a startling statistic and your donation will help to change this.

What I Will Be Doing

I will be cycling 75km (46.6 miles) in the American Diabetes Association's "Tour de Cure."  This is a fundraising event, a race against the disease, not a competitive event. My last tour, I cycled 50km so I'm upping the ante for myself this time.  My goal is $2600 and I need your help.

***  Join me in this effort!

Whether you support me with a $25 or a $250 donation, you will be helping the American Diabetes Association change the future of diabetes by providing community-based education programs, protecting the rights of people with diabetes and funding critical research for a cure.

How can you help??
