We ride because we are proud to do our part to Stop Diabetes. We decided to team up to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. We are committed to bike and raise money in this inspirational event not because 26 million people in the United States have diabetes, but because we personally know some of them, and want to do something about it.

By making a donation or joining our team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

As a team, united in our desire to Stop Diabetes, we are asking for your support. Please make a donation to one of our team members or become one of us by joining our team. When we bring together dedicated team members and kind donors, the power we have as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.

March 27: Cisco's Tour de Cure 'Lunch & Learn' kickoff: This was Team Cisco's official kickoff for the TdC fundraising season. We got to meet some enthusiastic new people and look forward to growing our team! In addition to all the fun learning and Q&A, we raffled off some exciting prizes, including a Kindle HD (thanks to ADA and Allyson Schloming for arranging it) and Tour de Cure training shirts!

 March 14: Silicon Valley TdC Kickoff Event
This was a wonderful opportunity to meet a very special guest, Mari Ruddy founder of the Red Rider program! Mari has lived with type 1 diabetes for more than 30 years and celebrates everyone that is taking control of their health. Every person to attend received one entry to win a Raleigh Revenio 3.0 road bike provided by our bike sponsors Raleigh Bikes and Talbots Cyclery!
